Better Business Bureau
The BBB is an unbiased organization that sets and upholds high standards for fair and honest business behavior. Businesses that earn BBB accredited business status contractually agree and adhere to the organization’s high standards of ethical business behavior. BBB provides objective advice, free business Reliability Reports and Charity Wise Giving Reports, as well as educational information on topics affecting marketplace trust. To further promote trust, BBB also offers complaint and dispute resolution support for consumers and businesses when there is difference in viewpoints. The first Bureau was founded in 1912. Today, 128 Bureau’s serve communities across the U.S. and Canada, evaluating and monitoring more than 3 million local and national businesses and charities.
Chicago-Land Apartment Association
CAA represents rental housing owners and professionals in Metro Chicago who own or manage in total more than 120,000 rental units. The Chicago-Land Apartment Association is dedicated to providing services and products that will help their members operate their rental housing successfully and profitably. Founded in 1947, the LPCC has grown into Chicago's largest neighborhood chamber. They lead numerous initiatives in support of their mission - helping businesses in Lincoln Park succeed and grow. While they define the Lincoln Park neighborhood as the area north of North Avenue, south of Diversey Parkway, west of the Lake Michigan and east of the Kennedy Expressway, their members include businesses throughout the Chicago area.
