Albany Park

Albany Park is situated along the Chicago River and is well known for its rich history and ethnic diversity. Food lovers can enjoy a wide array of eateries including Mexican, Korean, Thai, Indian and Middle Eastern. Enjoy fishing and boating down the River or simply catching some sun from the river banks. Several parks are situated in the neighborhood allowing for recreational sporting events. In August, there is the annual Albany Park Summer Fest.

There are two colleges located in this neighborhood: North Park University and Northeastern Illinois University. Albany Park is accessible through both the Brown Line and the CTA, and those with a car can access the neighborhood via the Edens expressway. The main business district is located on the intersection of Lawrence and Kedzie Avenues. With all Albany Park has to offer there is no reason not to call this diverse neighborhood your home.
