BUENA PARK
Buena Park is a small neighborhood located from Irving Park North to Montrose and Lake Michigan West to Graceland Cemetery. Many of the city’s founding fathers call Graceland Cemetery their final resting place. In fact, Daniel Burnham (who planned much of modern Chicago’s design) is buried there. Being so close to Lake Michigan allows residents the pleasure of the lakefront running path, boating, a dog park, and fishing from Montrose Harbor. During the winter months residents enjoy a plethora of coffee shops, neighborhood pubs, and theatre. Buena Park is accessible through the Red, Brown, and Purple line as well as many CTA buses. With its close proximity to Wrigley Field many sporting enthusiasts reside in Buena Park. Housing ranges from mansions and high rises to single family homes and courtyards.
