Lakeview runs from Diversey north to Irving Park and from Lake Michigan west to Ashland. It is home to Wrigleyville, the Southport Corridor, and Boystown. The annual Gay Pride Parade is held on the last Sunday of every June. There is never a dull moment in Lakeview as there are tons of local eateries, boutiques, bars, and nightclubs. For a night out visit Cubby Bear, Casey Moran’s, or Harry Carry’s just to name a few. For entertainment check out the Blues Brothers at Briar Street Theatre or go to a local bar and see who’s on stage. Lakeview is just four miles north of Downtown Chicago and is accessible by the Red, Brown, and Purple Lines as well as scores of CTA buses.
