OLD IRVING PARK
Old Irving Park was originally designed as a suburb of Chicago. It became incorporated as a part of Chicago’s Township in the early 20th century. This lovely area has a small town feel with corner pubs and markets. The neighborhood’s Six Corners Plaza is a retail Mecca where residents can find big name stores such as Office Depot and Sears. There are also several smaller privately owned stores that are present within the area. There is a lot of greenery in Old Irving Park and the neighborhood features big homes on big lots. There is the Blue Line access to the neighborhood as well as two Metra lines and the Kennedy Expressway. The homes in the area are old historic ones as well as newer courtyards and three flats jotted between older mansions.
