PILSEN

This lower west side community is known for having tons of art galleries and many Mexican-inspired murals on store fronts. The large Mexican population has lead to tons of eateries and wonderful authentic establishments. There is a decent amount of churches in the area and their bells can be heard bellowing when service is in session. Neo-Bohemian architecture is found in the community as well as two and three flats and single family homes. The neighborhood is also located near the United Center where the Bulls and Blackhawks play; an added bonus for residents. Pilsen is accessible through the Pink and Orange Lines.
