RIVER WEST

Developed by Jack Berger the River West community has many two and three flats, mid-rise condominiums, and converted lofts. Formerly an industrial area, many of the warehouses have now been transformed to clubs, bars, and eateries. Randolph Street is home to several restaurants and cafés which make it a wonderful little restaurant district. The neighborhood begins west of the river between Wicker Park and River North. It is a swanky community with amazing views of downtown Chicago, drawing residents who desire more peace and quiet while remaining close to the city action. Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studio calls River West its home. River West is accessible by the Blue and Green Lines and is a highly desirable area with many of its apartments updated with high end finishes.
